The Impact of Community Leadership in Enhancing Volunteer and Development Initiatives
摘要
This study aimed to shed light on the impact of community leadership in enhancing volunteer and development initiatives through the three theories of leadership: servant, transformational, and participatory and the dimensions of each theory through three dimensions: community building, trust for individuals, and cooperation in local community institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. We concluded that the variables for this study are community leadership as an independent variable and the promotion of volunteer and development initiatives as a dependent variable as a result of the influence of leadership. The dimensions of the three theories, community building, trust for individuals, and cooperation, came as the main dimensions for improving and activating volunteer and development initiatives. Based on the above, it is clear to us that the conceptual framework of community leadership, through the three theories, leads community leadership to strengthen voluntary and development initiatives. The variables interact with each other to achieve sustainable development and build an integrated and cooperative society. Proving the direct relationship between these variables will solve the study’s problem and fill the research gap. This is what the researcher will seek to study and apply to all segments of society.
