This study looked at how digital financial services (DFSs) affected human development in 28 Sub-Saharan African nations. To determine the impact DFSs have on the Human Development Index (HDI) overall and on its component parts, we used the Random Effect model under the panel data technique using annual data from 2012 to 2021. It was discovered that DFSs—particularly ATM services—are essential to raising the HDI in the subregion.

摘要

This study looked at how digital financial services (DFSs) affected human development in 28 Sub-Saharan African nations. To determine the impact DFSs have on the Human Development Index (HDI) overall and on its component parts, we used the Random Effect model under the panel data technique using annual data from 2012 to 2021. It was discovered that DFSs—particularly ATM services—are essential to raising the HDI in the subregion.
