The Role of Organizational Culture in Improving Institutional Performance: A Conceptual Paper

Organizational culture significantly enhances institutional performance. This study examines is the impact on law firms and legal consultancies in Oman, focusing on Royal Decree No. (41/2024) and its implications for work environments. The study bases its theoretical framework on organizational culture theories and their relationship with institutional performance, emphasizing values that encourage innovation and openness (Ali and Mohamed in J. Fac.Econ. Polit. Sci. 23(1), 205–255, 2022). How ever the Royal Decree No. (41/2024) aims to improve transparency, governance, skill development, and performance through technological integration. As globalization technological advancements play a crucial role in modern institutions, enhancing efficiency and creating opportunities for improved performance (Al-Jahni in J. Sociol. Stud. 27, 123–145, 2021). So we can say that Oman’s Vision 2040 emphasizes organizational culture, human resource development, and competitiveness. Both public and private sectors in Oman adopt organizational cultures aligned with national goals, focusing on innovation and flexible work environments. Organizational culture is a key driver for improving performance in law firms and consultancies in Oman, supported by transparency, skill development, and technology. The Vision 2040 supports achieving national developmental goals.
