The aim of this research is to examine the effects of digital transformation in litigation procedures facilitation in Sultanate of Oman. Main Objective of the Research: To measure the time reduction/ streamlining procedures in litigation process through use of judicial software and to assess the impact that training/learning has on operational efficiency. This research consists of two independent variables; digital transformation and dependent variables that are simplification of litigation processes. The significance of this research relates to the relationship between digital transformation and procedural judicial simplification in Oman. This research utilized a descriptive-analytical method. The sample of the research are generals, deputies’ general directorates, general heads, legal advisors, headmen departments and lawyers from the Supreme Judicial Council, the Supreme Court and Muscat Governorate Primary court. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from the participants. The results showed significant associations between digital transformation dimensions and litigation procedures rationalization. The analysis indicates the trend towards digital transformation and its positive increase within Omani judicial institutions with an increasing application of digital tools that aid in simplifying judicial procedures. The researcher also called on Arab countries to work on harnessing the technological revolution taking place in this sector, and to benefit from digital transformation technologies. It is also important to revisit cybersecurity policies to identify weaknesses and ensure the proper safeguards are in place. The research also pointed to the necessity for judges and members of the Public Prosecution to undergo intensive training to express all technological innovations. Furthermore, it is important to prepare the key principles of legislative frameworks for digital transformation and innovation in justice. Third, the study highlights that there is a special need for rehabilitation and training of judges and employees to raise administrative performance through electronic archiving system and electronic court to handle internet disputes. This research is a wonderful addition to the ongoing research literature on digital transformation in the judicial sector, and it derives its significance from the findings gained through this study, which would indeed help many policymakers, practitioners as well as researchers interested in knowing about what more digitalization can be observed post-study.
