The study area has been experiencing rapid industrialization and human influences over the past few years, which may have negative effects on water quality and human health. Hence, the water is analyzed for the following parameters: pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, total hardness, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, alkalinity, acidity, chloride, nitrate, fluoride, and bicarbonate in Gundlapochampally village, Medchal District, India. The results were compared to the World Health Organization's and the Bureau of Indian Standards’ drinking water guidelines. In order to evaluate whether groundwater in the studied area is suitable for human consumption, a water quality study is essential. It is found that majority of the samples are safe for drinking except with elements like Na+ (100%) and F− (14%) which infers the geogenic influences over anthropogenic. However, proper remedial measures should be implemented to reduce the risk of contaminants.
