The groundwater resources are progressively becoming susceptible to the growing prevalence of radiation originating from natural and artificial causes. This study explores the intricate network of effects arising from radiation exposure in environmental ecosystems. This study investigates the impacts of radiation on marine ecosystems such as life under groundwater, explicitly focusing on the disruptions in trophic interactions and population dynamics. Extensive study has also enabled us to uncover radiation's intricate ecological and environmental ramifications, encompassing genetic alterations and ecosystem disturbances. In light of the urgent matter, the study shall examine various mitigation and remediation approaches, assessing their efficacy and practicality. These efforts encompass habitat restoration, pollution control, and the cultivation of radiation-resistant plants. In addition, we thoroughly examine the current regulatory and policy framework, highlighting the necessity for more robust and more extensive policies to safeguard environmental ecosystems against the detrimental effects of radiation. Through evaluating these regulations and the proposition of potential enhancements, our objective is to cultivate a more efficient practice of environmental stewardship. This study presents empirical evidence of radiation-related accidents occurring in groundwater environments, offering tangible illustrations of real-world scenarios. Analyzing the ensuing repercussions, responses, and subsequent lessons from these incidents provides a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Finally, it provides valuable perspectives on potential avenues for future research, highlighting deficiencies in the current knowledge and areas that require further inquiry to gain a more comprehensive understanding and effectively tackle this significant matter.
