Logistics System of Passenger Transportation in Large Cities: Problems and Solutions
摘要
The research examines the challenges facing passenger transport systems in major cities. The authors use analysis, synthesis, and a systems approach to study problems in the field of logistics systems. The authors identified four main groups of problems: managing peak loads and flows, safety and compliance, environmental issues, and technological limitations and legacy systems. For each of these groups of problems, the authors proposed solutions based on the use of new technologies and tools. As a result of the research, the authors determined the methods for planning and forecasting the dynamics of transport mobility of the population. Moreover, the authors established the importance of considering public opinion when developing regulatory frameworks for planning public passenger transport using logistics methods. The practical application of these research results in the field of public passenger transport logistics undoubtedly yields positive outcomes. In turn, this positively affects the socio-economic development of cities by properly directing investments into urban transport and logistics systems. Therefore, enhancing urban transport systems through logistical methods can be considered a guarantee of sustainable development.
