In this fetus, the dental primordia of the first dentition have developed into the bell stage and the formation of dental hard substance has begun. It is therefore very worthwhile to take a closer look at the dental primordia. After an overview of the entire tooth bell in a very nice histological section, which shows all the important features, the details are shown in higher magnification. And, of course, the 3D-reconstructions of the dental primordia are also shown, exemplified by an incisor and a molar. Finally, the surrounding bone is also included in the illustrations (Figs. 36.1, 36.2, 36.3, and 36.4) [1].
