The chapter discusses the implications of genocide denial for social workers in the age of posttruth politics. By referring to the cases of the denial of genocides in Srebrenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Rwanda from the 1990s, the author analyzes how genocide denial has become central to the normalization of the crime of genocide as a legitimate means of racialized greater state projects in the contemporary world. The author precisely identifies the key discursive elements through the text that reveal how successfully genocidal necropolitics has transformed into genocidal psychopolitics, culminating in the political performance of genocide denial in the UN General Assembly on the occasion of the adoption of the Resolution on Srebrenica Genocide on May 23, 2024. In a time robbed of factual truth, the author appeals to social work to provide a safe refuge to the remembrance of the victims of genocides and the true reality of our world.

摘要
