Computational Analysis of Human Factors in Spear-Phishing Attacks: An Adaptive Network Model
摘要
This paper presents an adaptive network model for spear-phishing and analyzed how a refined and formalised version of the the COM-B model could provide a computational analysis for possible solutions in mitigating spear-phishing threats. This is mainly achieved through improving behavior, such as reflectiveness traits and traits of awareness. In our case study, through continuous learning and adaptation, the employee begins their work with certain knowledge and experience and thereafter begin to adapt and improve throughout training and simulation. Here reflection and behaviors change based primarily on the feedback the employee receives since, as they progress, they learn which mistakes they have made and how to avoid them in the future.
