This paper investigates the impact of wearable technology on everyday life in India, focusing on topographical wearable devices like smartwatches. It examines how these devices enable users to monitor and track their bodily activities, creating new dynamics in personal health management and social interactions. Through fieldwork and interviews, this study explores the relationship between wearable devices and users, analyzing how these technologies influence behavior, provide agency, and integrate into socio-technical systems.
