Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a constellation of symptoms that are produced by the compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel. Although patient’s medical history and nerve conduction studies continue to be the mainstay of the diagnosis of CTS, ultrasound is emerging as a powerful tool providing new features to the diagnosis. Ultrasound-guided hydrodissection of the median nerve at the carpal tunnel has shown promising results in CTS treatment and proven to be a safe procedure. We present our results with a minimum of 1 year follow-up.
