A yellowish-whitish longitudinal band developed on a third finger of the left hand of a middle-aged woman many months before the visit. The dermatoscopic examination of a thickened and crumbling nail plate revealed well-defined, longitudinal, parallel multicolored (yellow, white and red) bands extending from under the proximal nail fold to the distal edge. Partially translucent nail surface allowed visualization of elongated linear looped vessels parallel to the white bands.
