The objective of this chapter is to discuss the issue of uncertainties. Uncertainties are certainly a reality, and we do not know them. Can we improve our knowledge of these uncertainties? Is there a science of uncertainties? Is there an engineering of uncertainties? Do we have mathematical models of uncertainties? What is a product, if such a concept is possible for uncertainties?
