Cyberattacks on Video Surveillance Systems—Challenges and Privacy Issues
摘要
In the digital age, cyberattacks on the video surveillance systems have grown to be a serious problem, with threats only getting worse as everyday surveillance grows more widespread. This paper examines the many forms of cyberattacks, such as data manipulation, malware infiltration, and network breaches, that target video surveillance systems. There is a serious risk of unauthorised access to private information and sensitive video due to these attacks on privacy. The paper highlights the regulatory environment and the implications for privacy rights while addressing legal and ethical issues. It concludes with recommendations to mitigate these risks, including robust encryption standards, regular software updates, and comprehensive security protocols.
