This study explores the principles and applications of the circular economy, emphasizing waste reduction, resource conservation, and economic resilience. Raipur, as an industrial hub, faces significant environmental challenges, including waste mismanagement, resource depletion, and pollution. By adopting circular economy strategies—such as recycling, green infrastructure, sustainable construction, and community-driven waste management—the city can transition from a linear, wasteful economic model to a regenerative and resource-efficient system. Case studies highlight successful initiatives, including waste management programs, eco-friendly building projects, and innovative recycling start-ups. The study underscores the role of policy interventions, financial incentives, and public engagement in fostering circular practices. Implementing extended producer responsibility (EPR), green procurement policies, and educational campaigns can accelerate this transition. While challenges such as infrastructure gaps, regulatory enforcement, and public awareness persist, strategic collaboration among government, businesses, and communities can drive sustainable development. This research contributes to the discourse on circular economy adoption in emerging economies, demonstrating its potential to balance economic growth with environmental stewardship.
