Navigating a Career in the Air Force Reserve
摘要
The role of surgeon reservists and their experiences in military service has evolved over the last several decades. There is variability in individual experiences based on factors, including unit assignment and the Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) of the reservist. There are also differences when comparing across the branches of service. Navigating a career as a surgeon reservist involves nuances that require a combination of preparedness and engagement on the part of the surgeon to make this a productive experience for both the provider and their assigned unit(s).
