There are several points of view on the origin of the Earth and life on it. But all of them can be attributed to two paradigms, creationism and evolutionism. The first of them is idea of creation of the World by a higher power. The second one asserts the emergence of the Earth and the Universe as a whole is associated with elemental processes. Аt the same time, the influence of certain laws on the evolutionary changes of the newly emerged World cannot be ruled out. All the great events of geological history - the emergence of the biosphere, the birth of the oceans, the uplifting of mountain ranges, etc. must be interpreted as the effect of ordinary causes acting at a very slow pace, but in the process of infinity of time (at least of its enormous intervals). Human history is a brief moment compared with geological history. The period recorded in written sources is even shorter than a pace. But, the older the era, the less written evidence and the information contained in them is not clearer, the events that are painfully colossal in scale appear before our eyes. And here the question arises, how much does modern humanity know about the scale of possible disasters? At best, very little they do know. The main trump card of creationists is the absence of transitional forms of organisms in paleontological sections, which could clearly indicate the evolutionary development of biological objects. The followers of this doctrine believe that both the last and the whole World were created by the Higher Beginning in a single act of creation, and there can’t talk of any changes. The same remnants of living organisms found in sediments were buried as a result of the global flood. But in any theories and teachings one can find sound ideas about the World around us.
