Morpholithodynamic features and trends of coastal zone development, anthropogenic load, location and geospatial parameters of dangerous and vulnerable coasts of Sakhalin Island are considered. Sakhalin Island shores should become the basis for improving both socio-economic and natural stability of the coasts under conditions of rapid natural and technological changes. The peculiarities of the response of coasts composed of easily erodible rocks and rocky shores to these changes are shown. Attention is paid to the emission of climatically active gases during the destruction of biomorpholithosystems of the coast. Quantitative data on the most representative in this respect coast of the Amur estuary are presented.

摘要
