Renewable Energy Transition: Timelines and Prospects in the Context of Climate Change and Sustainable Development
摘要
The article uses neural models to study historical and forecast data on the shift in primary energy resources. Cesare Marchetti’s ideas on the duration of the transition to new energy carriers and their applicability to modern realities are discussed. Based on a neural model, factors influencing the pace of transition from traditional fossil fuels to renewable energy sources (RES) are analyzed, and predictions are made regarding the timeframe necessary to achieve significant changes in the global energy balance. The article also examines the limitations and opportunities of RES, such as their impact on anthropogenic climate change and their role in ensuring sustainable development of the global energy sector.
