Module 5 Guide and Wrap-Up
摘要
This chapter provides an outline of presentation slides, facilitator notations, and resources for Module 5 of the full-day training curriculum. Module 5 includes practical, hands-on training to demonstrate and facilitate skill development. The module begins with a scripted trainer-led demonstration using a volunteer trainee from the audience in the role of the incarcerated person. The next stage involves a trainee-led demonstration with two volunteers: one in the role of the incarcerated person and one as the staff member. In the final stage, participants break out into pairs or small groups to act out assigned role play scenarios. Module 5 concludes with a multiple-choice knowledge acquisition quiz and trainees are invited to complete a rating form about their experiences and perspectives. Following Module 5 instruction, this chapter ends with several final considerations for facilitators that encourage self-reflection about training preparedness, as well as how to effectively assess post-training performance and incorporate trainee feedback in future implementations.
