Physical Environment
摘要
This chapter on the Physical Environment of the Teide National Park covers the geographical, geological and geomorphological characteristics and finally the bioclimatic aspects of the Teide National Park, a protected natural area located on the island of Tenerife, which is the largest and highest island of the seven that make up the Canary Archipelago. Located in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 100 km from the northwestern coast of the African continent (between Morocco and Western Sahara). The island of Tenerife is also the one with the greatest biodiversity and geodiversity as a result of the processes of construction and destruction due to its volcanic activity and bioclimatic diversity.
