This paper presents a comprehensive design plan for an Environmental Stewardship Training Program, aimed at empowering youth to actively participate in climate action and sustainability, developed by the fictional nonprofit organization, Youth for Climate Now. The training program is a response to the urgent global need for environmental stewardship, aligning with the United Nations Environmental Program and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Targeting youth aged 18–24, the training emphasizes a blend of experiential learning and digital technologies. It integrates the Experiential Andragogy model, focusing on motivation, orientation, involvement, activity, reflection, and adaptation. The program’s instructional plan utilizes the ADDIE model, Gagné’s Nine Events of Instruction, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to create two key modules: the history of the climate crisis and environmental stewardship. The evaluation plan is guided by Kirkpatrick’s Four-Level Training Evaluation Model. The instructional plan outlines the necessity of empowering youth for environmental reform and climate justice. YCN’s approach combines educational workshops, training, and funding for local initiatives to foster environmental literacy and practical skills for impactful action.
