Investigating the Barriers in Photovoltaic (Solar) Energy Generation and Utilization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Global warming demands urgent action, especially in utilizing clean energy. This study identifies barriers to solar energy use in Dubai, highlights its benefits, addresses knowledge gaps, and offers solutions. Using Saunders' research onion methodology, data was collected through surveys. Despite a knowledge gap, findings show 80% + respondents are engaged with solar technology. Key barriers and solutions were identified. Statistical analysis revealed a strong positive correlation between key variables. The study’s objectives were met, and implementing the recommendations can lead to significant consumer savings, industry growth, and environmental benefits, promoting a cleaner and greener future.
