Steroid tape, or steroid plaster, is a simple scar therapy that can be applied to a broad range of patients for scars that are of thin-medium thickness in both preventative, treatment, and maintenance applications. Where the patient is a child, cannot tolerate painful treatments, or cannot otherwise undergo surgery, steroid tape may be a particularly favorable and effective treatment approach.
