The neurological manifestations associated with cardiac amyloidosis are often overlooked, as they overlap with a wide variety of other conditions. Involvement of the nervous system is generally restricted to the peripheral nervous system and includes length-dependent neuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and lumbosacral radiculopathy due to spinal stenosis. Though many of these syndromes are common, their appearance together or in certain contexts should alert the clinician to the possibility of amyloidosis. Early recognition of these manifestations is critical, as they may precede the diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis or prompt initiation of specific targeted therapies.
