While “smart cities” exist, their focus varies, and may not prioritize residents. Conversely, resident-focused cities aren’t always “smart”. In this chapter, I create studies based on expert interviews, to examine practices from smart cities, resident-centered cities, and their intersection, resident-centered smart cities.
