Optimal Location of High/Low Voltage Transformer Stations by K-Means Method and Scheduling of Electric Meters

The results presented in this article highlight the effectiveness of the K-Means approach in determining ideal high/low voltage station locations. The algorithm identified clustering patterns that increased efficiency and reduced expenses and costs by examining the GPS coordinates of substations and electrical meters. The results show that the positioning of processing stations in rural areas with high population density and high electricity demand significantly improves the performance of the distribution network, Taking into account the absence of a postal address system. This has important implications for developing electricity infrastructure and the reliability and quality of electricity supply. By financing the location of transformer substations and identifying low-voltage electricity meters, utilities can strengthen the system’s robustness, minimize energy losses due to cable lengths and sections, and ultimately, Provide better service to consumers through a comprehensive and real-life survey of low-voltage meter indexes and monthly distribution of energy bills. Future studies could examine the environmental impacts of these optimal implementation strategies and their broader economic benefits.
