AI Integration in Finance: A Shortfall

The article presents to the reader a growing influence of artificial intelligence in the financial sector. It is observed that AI is changing financial practice with technologies like machine learning and natural language processing, which make it possible to do vast data analyses, automate processes, and manage risks more suitably. He draws attention to several underused applications of AI, such as sentiment analysis and economic crisis prediction, that would yield immense benefit if exploited to their full potential. It also gives rise to ethical concerns of transparency, algorithmic biases, and proper regulations to ensure that it is used fairly and responsibly. Investors are thus encouraged to: worker training, support for SMEs to adopt AI, a clear ethical and regulatory framework to set guidelines underpinning the realization of the full potential of AI while minimizing inequalities and risks. Conclusion: Though there are promises of prospects that AI provides, the need for a balanced approach, at least from the financial sector, is called for if the advances of AI are to be of benefit to society as a whole.
