Enhancing Cyber Resilience Through AI-Driven Phishing Tests and Gamified Learning
摘要
This paper presents a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to bolster cybersecurity awareness and resilience within organizations. The strategy integrates gamification, phishing testing, user behavior analysis, and AI for scenario generation, leveraging advanced AI tools for content generation and data analysis. Firstly, we propose a proactive phishing testing mechanism where simulated phishing emails are sent to users, mimicking real-world malicious senders. These emails are generated using AI language models, which identify trending topics from social media to create engaging content. The emails and associated fake websites are created using generative AI tools, and the content is disseminated using corporate bulk email sender tools. User responses are categorized as pass, fail, or neutral, and their performance is recorded in the HR database. Users who repeatedly fail the phishing tests are sent awareness emails, and continuous failure may lead to disciplinary action. Secondly, we introduce a gamification strategy using augmented reality-virtual reality (AR-VR) based training tools. Users engage in seemingly game-like activities, but the underlying objective is to educate them about various cybersecurity aspects. Quizzes are integrated into the AR-VR tools, enhancing the learning experience while maintaining the feel of a game. Thirdly, we present an AI for scenario generation approach. Based on the collected data, AI can create realistic phishing simulation emails and social media posts. This includes personalized content that tailors the simulations to mimic current events or industry-specific scams relevant to your employees, dynamic language where AI can analyze real phishing emails to replicate the tone, urgency, and grammar used by scammers, and visual cues that generate realistic mockups of login pages or company logos often used in phishing attempts. Lastly, we collect the results of the tests and gamification activities in a dashboard to analyze the overall progress of the cybersecurity awareness program. It contributes to both industry and academia by providing a novel, comprehensive approach to cybersecurity education and awareness. The proposed methods not only aim to reduce the risk of cyber threats but also foster a proactive cybersecurity culture within organizations.
