Based on the analysis of the security threats faced by the intelligent substation communication system, the advantages of quantum key distribution technology are studied, and on this basis, the application of quantum key distribution technology in the intelligent substation communication system is proposed to realize the confidentiality and integrity of the data transmission process, and the comparison with the traditional information encryption technology is made. The research results show that the quantum key distribution technology has application advantages in the communication system of intelligent substation, which can provide a safe and reliable data transmission channel for intelligent substation and ensure the information security of intelligent substation.
