Pediatric heart transplantation (HTx) is the ultimate option in the treatment of end-stage heart disease refractory to maximum medical therapy or surgical management. This chapter comprehensively overviews pediatric HTx indications, pre-transplant evaluation, donor selection, waitlist management, post-transplant management and surveillance, and long-term complications. In addition, the survival and outcomes of pediatric HTx were discussed.
