The main aim of this essay is to address the issue of the legal personality of electronic agents as a starting point for a discussion on techno-animism. In order to do this, two radically constructivist perspectives have been chosen to inform the debate: those of Hans Kelsen and Niklas Luhmann. The aim is to present an exploratory debate on the limits and possibilities of thinking about techno-animism in legal contexts and with the theoretical models proposed.
