The fauna of the subfamily Tersilochinae Schmiedeknecht, 1910, in the Middle East comprises 76 known species across 15 genera. The most species-rich genera are Barycnemis Foerster, 1869, Phradis Foerster, 1869, and Tersilochus Holmgren, 1858, each with 11 recorded species. Among the Middle Eastern countries, Turkey with 59 species in 11 genera is more diverse than the others, followed by Iran (with 32 species), Israel-Palestine (11 species), Jordan (2 species), and Cyprus with the least, having only 1 species.
