The fauna of the subfamily Hybrizontinae Blanchard, 1845 in the Middle East comprises two known species, Hybrizon buccatus (Brébisson, 1825) and Hybrizon pilialatus Tobias, 1988, of which the second species is here recorded for the first time for the Middle Eastern region. Among the Middle Eastern countries, Hybrizontinae have been recorded only from Iran (two mentioned species) and Turkey (H. buccatus).
