Case Study 1: Picasso from Creation to Acquisition
摘要
This chapter uses a case study approach to analyze the timelines of artworks created by Pablo Picasso and their eventual acquisition by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Through data preparation, subset creation, and visualization, this analysis highlights patterns and insights into Picasso’s artworks in MoMA’s holdings. The methods and visualizations introduced in this chapter can be extended to other artists and datasets, enriching our understanding of the temporal dynamics of museum collections.
