Different materials are used in architectural projects according to the purpose and place of use. Therefore, since the materials used in architectural projects are very diverse and their usage areas are different, it is of great importance to select the most suitable material. The fact that material selection is so important reveals the Multi-Criteria Decision Making approach. In this study, AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS methods from Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods will be used. This study, it is aimed to solve the material selection problem in an architectural project. For this purpose, the cafe area floor covering material selection problem is determined. An Excel-based information system has been created for the solution of the problem. In this system, the criteria weights were found by the AHP method and then the problem was solved by using the Fuzzy TOPSIS method. As a result of the solution, the alternatives were ranked according to their suitability and it was found which material was the most suitable material.
