We explore the strengths and functionalities of the GEMOP (General Motion Planning) software for the efficient prototyping and generation of profiles and scripts for high-performance motion control systems. Developed for broad compatibility, GEMOP is examined with several industrial cases. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of GEMOP’s capabilities, including its latest features, simulation verification procedures, and prototyping efficiency, thus contributing to the body of knowledge in high-performance motion control systems.
