Optimizing Supply Chain Coordination and Information Sharing Using Blockchain Technology
摘要
Abstract Supply chains have a multitude of problems associated with them; examples include a deficiency in transparency, inefficiency in information sharing, or the tracking of product movement. Supply chains, therefore, should be supplemented with emerging blockchain technology-a decentralized, tamper-proof system with recordings of transactions and data exchanges. This research paper discusses the application of blockchain in supply chain management for enhancing coordination, transparency, and security. Therefore, a supply chain management system was provided using Ethereum blockchain and, for developing locally, Ganache. Interaction was made possible with the use of MetaMask. This system is mainly designed to track the movement of a product, verify ownership transfers thereof, and mark its deliveries on a distributed ledger. Products are tracked from manufacturing to delivery at different stages, Data analysis from the developed system shows that blockchain can enable tamper-proof traceability and grant real-time visibility into the supply chain.
