Exploring the Synergies of Multi-Agent Systems and Digital Twins
摘要
This evaluation explores the synergies between Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) and Digital Twins (DTs), focusing on how MAS can enhance the functionality of DTs in real-time applications. Although DTs are widely recognized for their ability to represent physical systems in digital form, their full potential is often constrained by multiple challenges. MAS, with their decentralized and autonomous characteristics, offer valuable solutions to overcome these challenges. This evaluation examines how MAS can support the dynamic interaction between physical and virtual entities, facilitate adaptive decision-making and improve system scalability. Key research gaps are presented, including the integration of knowledge management strategies, data synchronization and the application of MAS in autonomous DTs across diverse domains. The findings highlight the need for further exploration of these synergies to develop robust, intelligent, and scalable DT systems.
