During the last decade the pig sector has been undergoing a digital revolution with more and more sensors and equipment like feeding robots. Advantages of these equipment are the automatization in data gathering, monitoring and performance calculations. However, the cost is not rewarding for many farms. This paper presents a comparison of different feeding robots to assess their operation regarding measurements offered and precision. It has been observed no differences regarding the automatic registration of weight and manual registration. In contrast, daily feed intake has shown discrepancies depending on the device. Some of these differences were due mostly to a bad operation of machines with respect to feeding behavior of animals leaving open the door to improving the software controlling feeding robots.
