This chapter takes a broad, cross-disciplines view of conceptual structure as the sufficient precursor of knowledge. This premise is described and supported using less-traditional argument by example from cognitive theories, linguistics, large language models (LLM), research on neuroimaging, along with simple explanatory examples using terms-context vectors for network representation. If so, then all cognitive and learning theory and research should include conceptual structure measures and interpretations to support diverse theories and practice.

摘要

This chapter takes a broad, cross-disciplines view of conceptual structure as the sufficient precursor of knowledge. This premise is described and supported using less-traditional argument by example from cognitive theories, linguistics, large language models (LLM), research on neuroimaging, along with simple explanatory examples using terms-context vectors for network representation. If so, then all cognitive and learning theory and research should include conceptual structure measures and interpretations to support diverse theories and practice.
