Trauma is defined as a sudden injury to human tissues or organs caused by violence or accident, and may result in death or disability. Road traffic collisions are the leading cause of death among children and young adults, contribute significantly to disability, and are associated with high economic costs. In the light of these facts, this systematic literature review seeks to identify and summarise the interventions and determinants influencing quality of life in patients with trauma. The review will follow the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) 2020 statement method, with a search conducted on the CINAHL Plus with full text, MEDLINE Ultimate, MedicLatina, Scopus and Web of Science databases. The search strategy will employ combinations of keywords from the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) vocabulary. Re-sults will be limited to records published between July 2009 and June 2024. A PRISMA flow dia-gram will be used to depict the article selection process and results. As only secondary data will be analysed, no ethical approval is required for the performance of the study. This article presents the protocol for the systematic review, and was drafted prior to data extraction and analysis. The results of the review will be disseminated in peer-reviewed publications.

摘要
