Knowledge transfer is a fundamental objective of knowledge generators. Monetary indicators are generally used, which present a problem when comparing institutions of different sizes or conditions. The article aims to evaluate the efficiency of the knowledge transfer system of knowledge generators. A model with non-monetary indicators designed with structural equations was designed and validated. When evaluating four universities in the province of Pichincha, deficient evaluations were found in the link with the industry and the design and structure of the institution; on the other hand, efficient results were found in terms of academic networks and knowledge transfer, a result of a knowledge transfer in a managed stage. When evaluating the universities separately, it was found that one was in a managed stage, two in a defined stage, and one in the integrated stage. This research offers a tool for evaluating knowledge transfer in universities, developing a baseline, and evaluating actions to improve knowledge transfer.

摘要
