Local Acoustic Anisotropy of Metal After Plastic Deformation and Damage Accumulation
摘要
The work is devoted to study of acoustic anisotropyAnisotropy of rolledAluminum aluminum specimens. It was found that distribution of residual acoustic anisotropy after uniaxial elasto-plastic deformationDeformation has a wave-like macroscopic character with several local maxima. It is caused by both uneven change in thickness of specimens and formation of metal defects on their surface. Residual acoustic anisotropyAnisotropy repeats initial distribution after removing surface layer of metal by grinding. The obtained results allow detecting metal damageDamage using acoustoelastic effect.
