In Chapter 4, entitled ‘Research Methodology’, a pragmatic clustering of component geometries has been carried out along with the explanation of the underlying criteria. The manufacturing process of DED components is presented in a holistic and applicable manner by means of a flow chart containing all the clusters. This chapter also presents the development of the software framework for process planning, including the libraries used for slicing and toolpath generation.

摘要
