Evidence-Based Antecedents and Consequences of Technostress Within Organisations: A Literature Review
摘要
Our chapter aims to describe the effects of Technostress on employees’ well-being and productivity through the Job Demands Resources Model (JDR) framework. A systematic literature review will be conducted, following the PRISMA guidelines. The search and selection process will involve articles published in peer-reviewed journals from 2010 to 2023, written in English, and describing a qualitative or quantitative study on the antecedents or the consequences of technostress at work. Findings will provide a detailed description of the positive, negative, and protective effects of technostress on employee well-being and productivity in light of the JDR model. The main implications of the work will regard the individuation of specific risk and protective factors in the use of ICT at work to promote effective organisational interventions and the contribution to the systematization of the emerging literature on this topic.
