This research investigates copyright and electronic works within the digital landscape, shedding light on the legal framework and the challenges encountered in their protection. Several key objectives guide this study, such as analyzing the laws and regulations pertinent to copyright protection, pinpointing legal gaps and obstacles faced by these rights, assessing the efficacy of existing legislation, and comparing international laws that govern the safeguarding of digital works in today’s digital era. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the study aims to clarify and define copyright rights in the digital environment while evaluating how the legal system and technological mechanisms contribute to their protection, focusing on both the distinguishing features of available safeguards and the deficiencies impacting them. The research culminates in significant findings concerning the current legislation's effectiveness and its capability to offer sufficient protection for electronic works, while also identifying various gaps and challenges that require attention. Ultimately, the study presents a series of recommendations aimed at bolstering the protection of copyright holders and refining the legislation related to electronic works.
