The Impact of Job Benefits on Employee Performance: An Empirical Study
摘要
This research aims at investigating the effect of job benefits on employee performance. The approach used was descriptive-analytical, and its data were collected through questionnaires distributed to a sample of employees amounting to 10,283. Five hundred electronic questionnaires were distributed, with a return of 418 questionnaires, out of which 410 were valid. In this study, both material and moral job benefits were evaluated concerning their impact on job performance; the data were then analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. According to these authors, the results found a positive impact of job benefits on employee effort. This study recommends that effective material and moral reward and incentive systems be developed with an emphasis on transparency and fairness in distribution plus boosting the training and qualification of employees by fostering job commitment and job satisfaction through effective communication that recognizes efforts made.
