The Impact of Marketing Mix Elements on the Purchase Decision: Flower Consumers as a Case Study
摘要
This chapter seeks to investigate the influence of various marketing mix elements on the purchasing decisions made by flower consumers in Amman, Jordan. The research encompassed and independent variable, the marketing mix, represented by its four dimensions, namely product, price, promotion, and distribution. The dependent variable focused on the purchase decision of flower consumers. To collect the necessary data, a descriptive-analytical method was employed, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary tool. A random sample of 420 flower consumers in Amman, Jordan, was selected, and subsequent analysis was conducted on 400 valid questionnaires using appropriate statistical techniques with the aid of SPSS software. The findings of the study highlight that the mean scores for the marketing mix elements were generally high, with the product element receiving the highest score, followed by price and distribution. Conversely, the promotion element received the lowest score. Moreover, the study reveals a statistically significant positive impact of the marketing mix elements (product, promotion, price, distribution) on the purchase decision of flower consumers in Amman, Jordan. Based on these findings, the study recommends the continuation and improvement of the current distribution policy implemented by flower sellers, while also emphasizing the need for continuous development to adapt to market fluctuations. Additionally, the study suggests the intensification of promotional campaigns for flowers across various advertising channels to enhance consumer awareness regarding their significance and quality.
